The RI Department of Transportation’s work on the final elements of the Apponaug Circulator Project continues this week with curbing work at the Apponaug Four Corners roundabout and on Post Road through the village.
Drivers through Apponaug Four Corners (Post Road at Centerville Road and Greenwich Avenue) should be wary of potential lane closures this week at the RIDOT continues work at the center of that roundabout, the agency warns.

Single lane closures at Apponaug Village roundabouts, required to allow stamped concrete crosswalks to cure, have not been popular with many motorists, and Mayor Scott Avedisian is asking for patience as the restrictions are expected to last until May 31.
