Two Warwick Police calls Monday night mentioning machetes were not attacks, Warwick Police said, but a teenager playing and a man wanted on a warrant for a prior incident involving one of the weapons.
Officer Matthew Smith took two women into custody March 22 on arrest warrants for shoplifting after they were identified as culprits who had stolen $479 in clothing by staging it near an exit at Macy’s before moving it to a waiting car, then were caught in the middle of a repeat of the offense March 11.
