    Cancer Society 5K Run for Hope

    Come out for a great 2.7 mile fun run at Warwick City Park to benefit the American Cancer Society! The race will take you around beautiful Warwick City Park and will be professionally timed! There will also be a 1 mile kids run and a .5 mile little kids run so it is fun for the whole family!

    Stay afterwards for great fall festival including food trucks, vendors and kid’s activities!

    Eighth Annual Dog Walk and Blessing of the Animals

    ATTENTION: This event has been cancelled due to heavy rains forecast for the day. There is no makeup day scheduled.

    Come join the dogs at the Warwick Animal shelter for a scenic 2.75 mile walk on the walking trail at Warwick City Park from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

    All proceeds will benefit the homeless cats and dogs waiting for adoption at the Warwick Animal Shelter.

    A shorter walk is also available. All restrained animals are welcome for a blessing, but only dogs are allowed on the walk.

    Registration starts at 10:30 a.m. The Dog Walk starts at 11:30 a.m.. Individual blessings will continue to be performed between 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. by Deacon Baker.

    With a donation of a case of wet (pate) cat food or wet dog food or a bag of Purina One Dry Dog Food (minimum 16 pound bag, no Purina Dog Chow or other dry food brands), attendees’ dogs receive a free on-site portrait session by professional photographer Sandra King from White Dog Studios
