State Police report Vincent D’Ambra, who fled arrest for indecent solicitation of a child on Post Road in Warwick Wednesday morning, striking several unmarked police cars with his vehicle, turned himself in to West Warwick Police Wednesday night.
Rhode Island State Police issued 364 citations in the process of responding to a variety of motor vehicle violations over the Memorial Day weekend, arresting 46 people, eight in Warwick on charges ranging from DUI to cocaine, heroin and marijuana possession.

Troopers were called to Rte. 99 North in Lincoln March 15 at 2:58 a.m., arresting a Warwick wrong-way driver who caused two crashes, one involving two vehicles and his own, then a second when two cars collided trying to avoid the first crash, injuring all five drivers.

A rollover car crash and fire at 9:10 p.m. Monday night on Rte. 95 South, just before the Rte. 4 Exit, killed a three-year-old boy, according to RI State Police.

State troopers arrested a Warwick man on loan fraud charges, and, in a separate matter, a woman wanted for evading Warwick Police this week.
