RI Trooper Log: Disabled Car Prompts Domestic Assault Arrest

Editor’s note: The following Warwick, RI arrests were reported by the RI State Police on their website. An arrest reflects charges against an individual, and does not indicate guilt or innocence.

Lincoln Barracks –  At 11:20 p.m. Nov.3, troopers arrested Mason Slaton, 23, of 59 Mohawk Ave., on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on the charge of driving on a suspended license from the Warwick Police Department.

This arrest was the result of a barracks follow-up investigation and residence check. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – men’s intake.

Wickford Barracks – On Oct. 2 at 10:50 a.m., Troopers arrested Jeronimo Gonzalez, 27, of 136 Julian St., Providence, RI for a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for failure to appear for ability to pay on the original charge of driving under the influence – first offense, originating from State Police Headquarters.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North in the City of Warwick. Gonzalez was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake.

On Nov. 2 at 9:45 p.m., troopers arrested Jennifer I. Algarin, 28, of 329 Second St. Apartment 3R Woonsocket, RI for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant on the charge of Domestic Assault and Battery from the Woonsocket Police Department.

The arrest was the result of troopers responding to a disabled motor vehicle on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Algarin was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and later transported to State Police Headquarters awaiting transport to the Woonsocket Police Department.
