RI Trooper Log: Traffic Stops, Scofflaws and Drugs

Lincoln Woods Barracks: Traffic stops, suspended license, drug arrests  

At 11 a.m. Oct. 5, troopers arrested Rasheen Pierce, 21, of 23 Wellfair Ave., Warwick, RI, on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment for a charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the State Police Hope Valley Barracks.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 6, in Providence. Subject was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution’s Men’s Intake Center.

At 9:25 a.m., troopers arrested Barbara A. Humes, 37, of 160 Pinehurst Ave., Warwick, RI, for 1.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review for the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Schedule I-V originating out of the Warwick Police Department and 2.) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay for the charge of Shoplifting originating out of the Central Falls Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Huntington Avenue, in Providence. Humes was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution’s Women’s Intake Center.

Wickford Barracks: Traffic stops collar court scofflaws

On Oct. 4 at 1:56 a.m., troopers arrested Ronald Rastella, 24, of 21 Camelia Drive, Cranston, RI, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear / Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 2 in Warwick. Rastella was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake Center.

On Oct. 2 at 1:54 p.m., troopers arrested Eduardo Diaz, 32, of 21 Chestnut Ave., Cranston, RI, on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving With a Suspended License originating out of the Rhode Island State Police Wickford Barracks.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Centerville Road in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later transported to Third District Court.
