State Police Search Third Warwick Home in MA, RI Search for Missing Cranston Man

On Nov. 5, RI State Police searched a third home in Warwick at 117 Shannon Drive in their investigation into a Cranston man reported missing in Westport, MA.

Warwick, RI — RI State Police searched a home at 117 Shannon Drive today, the third Warwick address investigated in the case of a missing Cranston man last seen in Providence Aug. 10.

RI State Police Maj. Joseph Philbin said RI State Police searching the homes are helping in the MA State Police investigation into the disappearance of Kerry Mello of Cranston, last seen in Providence Aug. 10, according to a report from Westport.wickedlocal.com.

At about 4:30 p.m., troopers brought in a state police canine to search the back yard. A Warwick Police cruiser remained stationed at the address at 5: 15 p.m.

RI State Police have been assisting MA State Police in the search for Mello during the last two months.

State Police also searched a home at 36 Stone Ave. on Sept. 11, and one at 109 Louisiana Ave. in August, according to the Providence Journal.
