RI Passes $9.2 Billion Budget, Free CCRI Tuition, Car Tax Phaseout

Rhode Island’s $9.2 billion 2018 state budget passed in the state senate Thursday and was signed by Gov. Gina Raimondo, along with the $2.7 million Rhode Island Promise Scholarship program, allowing the state’s recent high school graduates to enroll at the Community College of Rhode Island tuition-free this fall.
