CCRI Ceramics Exhibit Fills The House at WMOA

Editor’s note: The following report was provided by Photographer Mary Carlos.

Warwick, RI –  Warwick Museum of Art was full of admiring patrons for CCRI’s Ceramics Invitational exhibit during it’s opening reception March 26.

Attendees mingled among the displays, eating hors d’oeuvres and listening to the guest speakers talk about their work and artistic processes, taking questions from the crowd.

Some of the pieces were already sold by the show’s opening hours. Among them was “Cherry Tree” by Brady Monk. The purchaser, Jackie, said she loved the piece, describing it as not only beautiful but useful, too. She said she’ll give it to her daughter for a birthday gift.

The show closes today at 5 p.m.
