A woman lost her silver Buick Lacrosse Wednesday at 6:30 a.m. when she parked it running, then left it unoccupied outside the Cumberland farms at 1556 Post Road, and Warwick Police are asking the public’s help identifying the thief responsible.
A call reporting an attempted truck theft in the lot of the Remington House Restaurant at 3376 Post Road led officers on a brief foot chase of a Providence man through a wooded area near Village Green Apartments before they arrested him on a larceny charge Sept. 28 at 9:41 p.m.
Warwick Police received a report June 19 at 1:51 a.m. from a Fall River man who said his gray 2015 Lexus had been stolen from the Warwick Mall outside Macy’s June 1 sometime after 10 p.m. the previous night while he enjoyed a night out with his girlfriend.
A CT State Police K-9 unit caught a Warwick man in a wooded area near a Plainfield, CT warehouse Thursday morning after a woman, a passenger in a car he had stolen, called 911 in fear of her life because he was driving recklessly and wouldn’t let her out.
