WARWICK, RI — A woman lost her silver Buick Lacrosse Wednesday at 6:30 a.m. when she parked it running, then left it unoccupied outside the Cumberland farms at 1556 Post Road, and Warwick Police are asking the public’s help identifying the thief responsible.
The thief can be seen in the footage, wearing a two-toned North Face jacket with blue hoodie underneath, as he enters the car bearing PA plates and leaves the parking lot in an unknown direction.

Dubbed “The North Face Car Thief,” the culprit was caught on security footage taking the car. Warwick Police provided stills from the video on their Facebook page, asking the public to help them find the man and question him about the theft and the location of the woman’s car.

  1. Sorry maam your car got stolen, but come on now… This could have easily been avoided by shutting it down and locking it before going into the store. You gotta take some responsibility here.
