WARWICK, RI — Officer Kyle Palmer was dispatched to a Warwick Avenue address March 25 at 8:20 p.m. for a report of a larceny from a woman’s car, with $440 in cash, a $100 necklace and credit cards stolen.
Upon meeting with the woman, Palmer reported she believed her car, a 2017 Subaru Highlander, had been broken into overnight, although she had locked it and there was not visible sign of a forced entry. She said it had been broken into sometime between 8:30 p.m. March 23 and March 24 at 6:30 p.m.
The woman said when she returned to her car March 24, she noticed her glove box was open, and all the cash was missing. Along with the cash, the woman reported the following items missing from the car:
1 black cross strap purse, $40
1 RI driver’s license
1 gold necklace, $100
1 Discover credit
1 TD Bank debit card
Palmer advised the woman to contact her insurance company.
