An East Greenwich man arrested by State Police Jan. 12 after meeting a detective for what he thought would be a sexual encounter with an 8-year-old girl has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Sami-Joe Daou, 27, of Warwick, was sentenced in federal court in Providence Tuesday to five years and 10 months in federal prison for child porn distribution following his guilty plea in November.
