WARWICK, RI — An early morning snowfall has caused Warwick Public Schools to cancel classes Monday, with a number of services and private schools following suit and a parking ban back in effect for the city.
WARWICK, RI — The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the city and state from 6 a.m. Thursday till 8 p.m. as Rhode Island prepares for a snowstorm expected to bring 8-12 inches of intense snowfall, with State Police urging motorists to avoid the roads during that time, if possible.
The National Weather Service warns of a windy weekend ending in a snowstorm Sunday lasting through Monday morning, dog licensing has officially moved under the City Clerk’s umbrella, and Tuesday hours for VIN check have been changed.
