WARWICK, RI — Late Thursday night, as winds and snowfall began to decrease, the National Weather Service predicted a blustery evening, with a west wind 14 to 20 mph, and gusts as high as 41 mph, leaving the potential for power outages an unrealized possibility as of 10:30 p.m.

The National Grid Power Outage Map for Rhode Island showed only 10 reported outages affecting about 80 people throughout the state late Thursday night.

As of 7:30 p.m. RI State Police reported responding to 143 calls for service and investigated 7 minor crashes. Troopers also reported assisting 104 vehicles off the roadway and towing 18 vehicles since 6 a.m.
