Warwick, RI – Mayor Scott Avedisian thanked supporters and voters during a jubilant primary victory Tuesday night against Republican challenger Stacia Petri, telling them city government was the solution to people’s problems, not the enemy.
Warwick, RI — It was a jubilant scene inside Avedisian headquarters, where the incumbent mayor celebrated a 65%-to-35% victory over challenger Stacia Petri in the Republican primary for the mayor’s office.
Warwick, RI – Candidates and poll workers reported a slow start to voting during Tuesday’s primary as citizens trickled in and out of the polls.
