WARWICK, RI — In this week’s WPD log, Warwick Police made 52 arrests between March 3 and March 9, including 11 for DUI, 5 for shoplifting, 4 for domestic assault, and one for domestic stalking.
- On March 4, Warwick Police arrested Laron Brown, 25, at Macy’s 400 Bald Hill Road, charging him with shoplifting, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and assault of a police officer.
- On March 5, at 12:45 p.m., Warwick Police arrested Kevin Robert Limoges, 53, at 130 Lansing Ave., charging him with domestic stalking/intimidation, first offense.
- On March 5, Warwick Police arrested Jacob Gallant, 42, of Westport, MA at the Rite-Aid at 1201 Warwick Ave., charging him with assault with intent to commit a felony after he stabbed an 18-year-old female employee at the store with a large knife and was restrained by an employee and patron inside the store.
Warwick Police credited the two men who intervened with saving the woman’s life.
