WARWICK, RI – Warwick Police have issued an arrest warrant for a Warwick man suspected as the culprit in a series of thefts of landscaping equipment in the city in June.

Police posted a wanted poster to Facebook this week identifying Raymond Ellinwood, 45, of LKA 303 Greenwich Ave., Warwick as their suspect in the thefts, including one on Knight Street June 12. On that date, a video shows him in the act of committing the theft. The video shows a man wearing orange sunglasses, and a T-shirt over his head, draped in a manner reminiscent of an Egyptian Nemes head cloth.

The WPD poster describes Ellinwood as 5’9″ tall, weighing 200 lbs and notes he is believed to be staying in the Dundas Avenue area.

Police ask anyone with information about Ellinwood to contact them at 401-468-4200 or via Facebook IM.
