Troop 1 Gaspee Plateau and the rest of Warwick’s Boy Scout Troops would like to recruit new members to their ranks and will be at Warwick City Park Saturday 8:30 a.m. till 5:30 p.m. to sign up interested young people.
WARWICK, RI — Scouts from Troop 1 Gaspee Plateau had a front seat to the interaction between the Warwick City Council and the Warwick School Committee during the March 20 City Council meeting as councillors questioned line items in the school department’s $4 million bond release request.
Troop 1 Gaspee Plateau had dubbed in 91 Eagle Scouts in its 84 years, before Aug. 20 when they added Rourke Noel Ferguson and Thomas Perry Rawson to the ranks of those who’ve earned the honor.
