This year’s Bark for Life switched venues to Bow Chicka Wow Town, drawing about 40 people and their canine friends for contests, games and a lot of interactive four-legged play.
WARWICK, R.I. — Everybody’s got a grudge with cancer, including the owners, employees and customers at BMW of Warwick at 1515 Bald Hill Road, and they’re inviting the public to an event tonight supporting the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation.

The 2016 Coventry Relay for Life, the annual festival fundraiser for research into cures and treatment for cancer patients, starts at 4 p.m. Friday at Coventry High School’s track, lasting through 7 a.m. Saturday, assembling Knockerball RI, a frozen T-shirt contest, raffles, food, lawn games and a concert by pop rock-country singer Megan Harney.
Rhode Island’s first state-wide Bark for Life, a four-hour human and canine community festival fundraiser aiding cancer cure and treatment research, comes to Warwick City Park Sunday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
