Solomon Announces Sandy Lane Traffic Pattern Changes

WARWICK, RI  — Mayor Joseph J. Solomon announced a series of traffic pattern changes on Sandy Lane taking effect this week to manage increased traffic congestion while repairs on a nearby sewer line continue.

The changes, which will remain in effect until construction to repair the sewer line is finished, are:

  •  8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday – one-way, westbound travel only
  •  3:30 p.m. until 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday – unrestricted, two-way travel
  • Weekend traffic – unrestricted, two-way travel

 In other news related to the sewer repair:

Should additional water shut-offs be necessary, a warning will be posted at warwickri.govwarwicksewerauthority.com, the police department’s Facebook and Twitter accounts, and at a dedicated line at the Sewer Authority, 401-921-1122, established to provide updates.

Detours announced Monday remain in effect, according to the Mayor’s office.
