Warwick, RI – Rhode Island State Police made several Warwick-related arrests this week on warrants issued after they failed to show up in court on a number of charges, including domestic assault and driving with a suspended license.
Traffic stop ends with arrest for failing to appear on domestic assault charge On Tuesday May 10, at 9:05 a.m., troopers arrested Joshua Montanez, 31, of 100 Warwick Ave., Warwick, Rhode Island on a Second District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charge of Domestic Simple Assault out of the Newport Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. Montanez was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later turned over to Second District Court.
Traffic stop yields arrest for not showing on suspended license charge On Tuesday May 10, at 9:05 a.m., troopers arrested Michael Elgar, 34, of 19 Wilcox St., Warwick, Rhode Island on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License out of the State Police Hope Valley Barracks.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Elgar was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later turned over to Third District Court.
Traffic stop ends with court scofflaw arrest At 12:23 a.m., troopers arrested Orlando Goris, 31, of 52 Dover Street, Providence for a Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on the charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of State Police Headquarters Barracks. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick.
Goris was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute Men’s Intake Center.
Trooper arrests woman on Rte. 95 for not showing on suspended license charge At 7:03 a.m., troopers arrested Janie Walker, 27, of 66 Terrace Ave., Providence, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License out of the Smithfield Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 South in Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and will be turned over to Third Division District Court.
