The Boys and Girls Club of Warwick’s new teen oriented ‘The Club at Cooper’ will opened for middle school youth Monday, offering programs fostering STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) skills, including a wellness room where kids can refresh, limber up and work off any stored up energy after a long day at school.

When the Boys and Girls Club of Warwick opens for middle school youth Monday, Nov. 13, they’ll experience programs fostering STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) skills, including professional recording studio lessons designed to prepare them for new and old-school equipment.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick showed off their new teen center, ‘The Club at Cooper’ in the in the former Lloyd Cooper Armory on Sandy Lane Tuesday night, featuring a sound booth/recording studio, interactive projection video games, a virtual reality set, and three-D printers.
Jenn White’s first job was junior counselor at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick, so her new gig as director of the arts-based programs at the future Cooper Building branch, catering to middle school students, seems a perfect homecoming for the Warwick native.
