WPD IDs May 20 Harbor One Robber

WARWICK, RI — Warwick Police have identified the May 20 Harbor One Robber as a 59-year-old Providence man after Providence Police apprehended him after a bank robbery there Saturday.

On the afternoon of May 21, the Providence Police Department investigated a bank robbery in their City, apprehending and charging William Archer, 59, of Providence with 2nd degree robbery.

Following the man’s apprehension Warwick detectives questioned Archer about the Harbor One Bank robbery at 2089 Warwick Avenue on Friday, May 20. Archer implicated himself in the Warwick robbery.

The Warwick Police Department will also be filing a 2nd degree robbery charge against Archer.
