WARWICK, RI — Warwick Police are asking the the public’s help identifying the Jan. 16 Jehovah’s Witness Hall vandal, providing photos of the person they’re investigating.

According to police, the vandalism which occurred at 1:20  a.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 544 Long St., is being investigated as a hate crime.

In a request for information about the vandal posted to Facebook, Warwick Police shared photos of the person, who is pictured wearing a dark-colored coat and a hood, which may be part of the garment. Police also provided a photo of the person’s boots, which appear to be distinctively white-soled.

“Attached are photographs of the subject and distinct footwear. Anyone who has information pertaining to the identity of the subject, please contact the Warwick Police Department Detective Division at 401-468-4238,” Police wrote in their post about the investigation.
