
WARWICK, R.I.  — Police made 61 arrests between Oct. 26 and Nov. 2, including one for firing a firearm in a compact area, four for DUI, seven for shoplifting, one for simple assault, one for felony assault and one for drug possession and 13 warrant arrests, according to the Warwick Police arrest log:
- At 9:15 a.m. Oct. 26, Warwick Police arrested Nicholas Iasimone, 18, at 212 Warner Brook Road, charging him with firing a firearm in a compact area.
- At 12:29 p.m. Oct. 27, Warwick Police arrested Robert DeSousa, 47, at 51 Baker St., charging him with felony assault and disorderly conduct.
- At 7:50 p.m. Oct. 27, Warwick Police arrested Yovaniell Sostre, 22, at 1855 Elmwood Ave., charging him with possession of Oxycodone. The arrest occurred after the officer spotted a white 2017 Toyota Corolla traveling about 10 mph over the speed limit Oct. 27 at 7:50 p.m., pulling it over and arresting the driver.
- At 12:28 p.m. Oct. 31, Warwick Police arrested Alyssa Stefanik, 27, at 15 Logan St., charging him with burglary and one count of burglary.
