Woman Crashes Car into Warwick Avenue CVS

Warwick, RI – An elderly woman lost control of her car at about 10:42 p.m. Sunday night, crashing into the CVS on Warwick Avenue, causing minor injuries to two people inside, police report.

The driver suffered no injuries in the crash, and showed no signs of intoxication, according to Warwick Police Capt. Thomas Hannon. The two people injured inside the store refused medical treatment.

Hannon said the department received the call, which was reported as a car into a building at 2400 Warwick Ave., at about 10:42 p.m. Police, the Warwick Fire Department and a Warwick Fire Rescue responded to the scene.
