WFD Extinguishes Car Fires at TF Green Garage

Warwick Firefighters were called to the TF Green Airport parking garage at 2 p.m. today for a report of cars on fire.

WARWICK, RI — Warwick firefighters were called for a report of burning cars in a parking garage at 2000 Post Road, TF Green Airport’s parking garage, for a two-alarm fire Friday at 2 p.m.

Warwick Fire’s Ladder 2 truck and three other fire engines responded. Ladder 2 extended its ladder to the fourth floor, where the cars were burning, to fight the fires. 

RIPTA detoured several routes away from the airport during the incident. 

There were no injuries, and the State Fire Marshal is investigating the fire, according to a report by Turnto10.com. Two cars had caught fire, according to the report.
