WARWICK, RI — Warwick Police are seeking leads on an incident where a woman nearly struck a delivery driver with her car at the Mobil station at 14 Jefferson Blvd.

According to an entry posted on the Rhode Island Most Wanted website on Oct. 23, the woman had been “in a verbal argument” with the delivery driver, then got into her car and “drove over several cases of merchandise.”

The woman also drove her car in reverse toward the delivery driver, causing him “to flee to avoid being struck,” according to the website.

Photos on the website show the woman driving a gold Hyundai with black front quarter panels and Connecticut license plates with registration number 529-PLA. A check of the Connecticut registration database showed that there is no record of that registration number, police noted.

If caught, the woman faces possible charges of assault with a dangerous weapon (vehicle) and driving to endanger.
