The woman wagered $1 on ten 4-digit straight tickets, winning $5,000 on each. She purchased the tickets at HARSS Express, 2912 Warwick Ave., Warwick.
She said she plans on buying a new car, according to the RI Lottery.
The woman is the latest in recent lucky winners in Warwick:
- A Warwick woman won $100,000 playing the “Pinball Wizard” Instant Game March 24
- On the week of March 3, a Warwick man won $13,500 after betting $10 on a 10-spot Keno Plus ticket at Union Avenue Shell, 200 Union Ave., Providence.
- Robert Angilly, Jr. of East Greenwich played the numbers from his 17-year-old granddaughter’s birthday at Stop & Shop, 300 Quaker Lane, Warwick Feb. 6, winning a $50,000 Powerball jackpot.
