WARWICK, RI — The Warwick Weekend summer activities begin with a Thursday food truck festival on the cusp of a balmy, mostly clear string of days to enjoy yourselves.

The weekend weather forecast predicts 80-degree weather all weekend, with only a slight chance of rain Friday. It’s more a sunblock weekend than an umbrella weekend. Nonetheless, keep an eye on the sky and be prepared. While more than a dozen Rhode Island beaches were closed earlier this week due to high bacteria counts, Goddard Park State Beach just got a clean bill of health. Keep an eye on the health department’s monitoring as you plan.
