WARWICK, RI — Warwick Weekend events include the debut of the Rolling, Strolling Apponaug Winter Festival  and a holiday market Saturday coinciding with balmy weather, and an artsy winter market.

Warwick Weekend weather is forecast in the low 40s – 50s today and Saturday with clouds, then a good chance of rain and patchy fog Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. Here are some events and happenings to help you decide where you’re spending the good weather, then where you’re keeping dry:

Warwick Weekend Friday:

Bring your own Improv This interactive improv show at the Warwick Center for the Arts welcomes voluntary audience participation! You can participate in one of three ways: applaud for a scene you like, yell out fantastic suggestions, or if you feel you’re ready, jump up and get involved with us on stage.

WCFA Yoga in the Gallery This Friday morning yoga class is an all-level yoga experience. You will learn to stretch and strengthen your body with breath and movement. Modifications are provided for the lesser experienced practitioner.

Class fee: $12.00 per session (WCFA Members $10). Payment can be made in person when you arrive for class or online

Warwick Weekend Saturday

Library food drive Donations of non-perishable food items are still being collected during the Warwick Public Library’s food drive, running through Sunday at the main branch, 600 Sandy Lane Warwick, RI 02889. The drive is being run in partnership with Westbay Community Action.
Library Mario Kart Tournament Go out for a spin, hurl some shells, at our FREE Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Tournament!
The event runs 1- 4 p.m. in the large meeting room, for grades 6-12.

Warwick Weekend Sunday

New Years Eve Fireworks Rocky Point Park opens at 3 p.m.  and fireworks blast off at 6 p.m. We will have food trucks brought to you by Ocean State Food Truck Festivals, giveaways and music.
