Goddard Park Farmer’s Market Every Friday through Columbus Day Weekend, RI Grown, DEM’s farmer’s market program, hosts farmer’s market at Goddard Park selling delicious and freshly-harvested local foods direct from the farm to your dinner table. This is the of the first Warwick Weekend events, and a an important one for local farmers.
Roger Williams Food Truck Fridays The Carousel campus at Roger Wiliams Park Zoo has a lot of open space and rolling hills shaded by trees, the perfect spot to grab dinner from a food truck and listen to music and entertainment during the park’s Food Truck Fridays event. The outdoor food truck festival at Carousel Village starts at 5 pm. Attendance is free, just pay for what you eat and drink from an ever changing rotation of more than 15 food trucks each week.
If you miss this one, don’t worry. They’re going on every Friday till the fall.
Norwood branch Library Building Club: Join other kids to create with Legos and Manga-tiles every Friday afternoon at the Norwood Branch.

imPOSSIBLE Dream Fundraiser North Shoreham Bank has sponsored anevent Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon to benefit the The imPOSSIBLE Dream playground, 575 Centerville Road. This fun-filled, FREE event will feature face painting from Kathi’s Creative Faces, balloon twisting by Antknee, raffles and so much more! All proceeds will go to the Impossible Dream Playground, Rhode Island’s first integrated playground, founded by John Florio, which provides a play-friendly environment for children of all physical abilities!
Conimicut Village-wide Yard Sale Conimicut Village will be holding its Annual Village-Wide Yard Sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be more than 40 houses participating throughout the Village.
Conimicut Village Farmers Market This Saturday, 9am-12 p.m., the Conimicut Village Farmer’s Market continues. The Conimicut Village Farmers Market at 955 West Shore Road. The market runs every Saturday until Sept. 28.
Pilgrim Boys Hockey Car WashThe Pilgrim High School Boys Hockey team will be having a car wash Saturday, 9 a.m. till 2 p.m. at Pilgrim Senior Center. $5 per car, $10 per truck. It’s going to be a beautiful day to get your car washed and say hello to the team! We appreciate the support for these student athletes!
RISPCA Paws in the Park Rhode Island SPCA’s annual dog walk will be held on Sat., Sept. 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Goddard Memorial State Park at 1095 Ives Rd., Warwick, RI 02818. This family friendly dog walk attracts hundreds of pet owners and their dogs each year. Activities include a dog walk through scenic Goddard Park, a vendor marketplace, food trucks, canine costume contest, raffle baskets, kids’ activities, and much, much more! Oakland Beach Community Cleanup Come out this Sunday to Oakland Beach for a great cause – a community cleanup of Oakland Beach from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. Participants will meet at the Gazebo before setting out on cleanup tasks. The event is sponsored by Rally4Recovery, The Collaborative in Warwick, RI and is a part of the Warwick Health Equity Zone initiative.
