Warwick Weekend weather gradually climbs out of the high 40s into the low 60s Saturday and Sunday, with no rain, a welcome, if long awaited, break in a precipitation weekend trend of late, according to the National Weather Service. Here are some events and happenings to help you spend all that sunshine:

Warwick Weekend Thursday:

Aging with Confidence, WCFA  The Aging with Confidence event celebrates its second year and we encourage you to register online,  free! Join us 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Warwick Center for the Arts, hosted by Central RI Chamber of Commerce where we’ll discuss long-term planning for you and your loved ones.

Warwick Weekend Friday:

Bring your own Improv This interactive improv show at the Warwick Center for the Arts welcomes voluntary audience participation! You can participate in one of three ways: applaud for a scene you like, yell out fantastic suggestions, or if you feel you’re ready, jump up and get involved with us on stage.

WCFA: 37th RI Open Exhibit The Warwick Center for the Arts (WCFA) presents original artwork created by artists who live or work in Rhode Island. Each year, we look forward to this opportunity to celebrate the creativity and artistic vision of our fellow Rhode Islanders. All media including, painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, photography, digitals arts and textile arts. The gallery is open from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. every Wednesday through Saturday. There is no charge for admission.

Warwick Weekend Saturday:

Pawtuxet Run of the Mills 5K Join us Saturday, Nov. 4, for a family-friendly 5k walk, run, roll, or stroll along the banks of the Pawtuxet River! Featuring 3 trestle bridges along the Coventry Greenway, a rail trail known as the Washington-Secondary bike path, enjoy views of the river, two majestic mills, and a jog through Anthony Historic District, on the National Register of Historic Places. Feel the crisp Autumn air at the starting line by Rice Memorial Field and take in beautiful foliage as the morning fog slowly rises off the still water of the pond before the water rushes over the dams at Laurel Ave and Clariant Falls. Celebrate the Pawtuxet River with us, just minutes from Route 95, in the historic village of Anthony. All proceeds benefit the Pawtuxet River Authority and Watershed Council

 Warwick Weekend Sunday

Don’t forget to fall back tonight — set your clocks back an hour — to get in synch when Daylight Savings Time takes effect at 2 a.m. Sunday morning. Ben Franklin, your sixth grade gym coach, and everyone at work on Monday is counting on you.
