WARWICK, RI— It’s officially fall, making it one of the best times of the year to get outside and have some fun with the Warwick Weekend roundup.

This weekend is chock-full of great events sure to delight the entire family. There’s everything from car shows and markets to LEGO building and more. Check out our Warwick Weekend picks.

Friday, Sept. 24

Goddard Park Farmers’ Market

Stop by the Goddard Park Farmers’ Market today and grab some fresh produce, breads, meats, flowers and more from local spots. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Goddard State Park, 1095 Ives Road, Warwick.

Rhode Island Art Educators’ Showcase

The Warwick Center for the Arts Rhode Island Art Educators’ Showcase celebrates art teachers who have the gift of merging the intricacies of mathematics, the lyricism of language and the lessons of history to create a new form of visual communication. This exhibit runs through Oct. 9 and is free and open to the public. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., The Warwick Center for the Arts, 3259 Post Road, Warwick. 

Food Truck Friday at Roger Williams Park

Enjoy Food Truck Friday featuring more than a dozen locally-owned food trucks, along with local beer from Trinity Brewhouse, along with live music. 5-8 p.m. Roger Williams Park Zoo & Carousel Village, 1000 Elmwood Ave., Providence.

If arts and crafts are your thing, head on over to Coventry today for Grow Coventry’s first Art and Craft Festival. Enjoy Artists, artisans, crafters, authors, live music and more. Pick Your Own Apples

Go apple picking today at Pippin Apple Orchard in nearby Cranston. Apple picking season starts Saturday at Pippin. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Pippin Apple Orchard, 751 Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston.

The Grand Car Show of 2021

Join the Rhode Island Shriners, Rhode Island Street Rodders Association and Ocean State Food Truck Festivals for a full day of fun at the Grand Car Show of 2021. See some of Rhode Island’s coolest rides, plus there’s a pig roast and chicken BBQ, fall brews from Memphis Kelle Beer Garden and an ice cream truck for the kiddos. All proceeds benefit RI Shriners. Admission is Free! The BBQ/pig roast is $25 per person, $15 for ages 5-10 and under 5 is free. 11 a.m., Masonic Youth Center, 116 Long St., Warwick.

Drop-in Lego Club
