WARWICK, RI — The Warwick National Night Out event returns on its rain date Saturday, 3 p.m. at Rocky Point Park, and ending with a spectacular fireworks display at around 9 p.m.
National Night Out, celebrating its 41 st year, is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-
community partnerships — with 38 million neighbors taking part across 17 thousand communities from
all fifty states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August (this event
was re-scheduled due to rain).
Warwick Police invite the public to enjoy the event at Rocky Point park where there will be 18 Food Trucks from Ocean State Food Truck Festivals, a DJ, a bounce house with inflatable obstacle course, face painting, balloon animals, touch-a-truck vehicles, and free giveaways for the kids while supplies last.
The event will also include demonstrations by the Warwick Police K-9, Warwick Fire Department’s Jaws of Life, and information tables from various social and family service providers and vendors.
The event is all ages and parking is free
