Warwick, RI — The The Kent County Grand Jury has indicted a Warwick man on one count of first degree child molestation in August whom State Police also arrested for child pornography possession in September.
The indictment alleges Henry Bozzo, 59, of 84 Steel Avenue, Warwick, molested a person 14 years or younger in the city on or about Aug. 4. Rhode Island State Police and the Warwick Police conducted the investigation. State Police arrested Bozzo on the child molestation charge Oct. 8. Bozzo is scheduled to be arraigned in Kent County Superior Court on that charge Dec.11.
Bozzo had been previously arrested by State Police Sept. 2 on child pornography charges after The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) reported he was trading internet files of child pornography from an internet address at 84 Steele Ave., where he was staying at the time.
Bozzo was arraigned at the Third Division District Court on the Child Pornography charges at The Noel Judicial Complex, 222 Quaker Lane, Warwick, and was released on $10,000 personal recognizance with special conditions including no contact with minors and no access to the Internet in September.
After his Oct. 8 arrest, Bozzo was held without bail, then sent to the ACI Nov. 9. Bozzo is scheduled for a Dec. 11 arraignment on that charge as well.
