Warwick, RI – The main branch of Warwick Public Library, at 600 Sandy Lane, hosts a celebration of the library’s 50th anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In honoring the milestone, the event will include vintage vehicles, a 50th anniversary photo booth, and visits by Mayor Scott Avedisian and some of his predecessors, the Cat in the Hat, historian Henry Brown, and sea shanty performer Michael Goddard.
Pizza and Yacht Club soda will be served, and kids can make an anniversary bookmark to commemorate the event.
