Trooper Log: DUI Arrests, Pizza Delivered to Jail

Wickford Barracks: Court scofflaw, Driving Under the Influence

At 3:30 p.m. Sept. 6, troopers arrested Damion Sanberg, 28, of 150 Spring Grove Ave., Warwick, RI on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the initial charge of Driving on a Suspended License originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on West Shore Road in the City of Warwick. Sanberg was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and arraigned by Justice of the Peace and released.

At 1 a.m., troopers arrested Timothy Ward, 38, of 54 Ranger Road, North Kingstown, RI for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – 1st Offense – BAC .10 to .15 (Phase I = .125, Phase II = .119).

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Ward was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.

Lincoln Woods Barracks: DUI stops, Pizza apprehended

At 1:10 a.m. Sept. 6, troopers arrested Ronny Carvalho, 52, of 151 Tremont Street, Central Falls, RI, for 1.) Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Carvalho was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, and held overnight pending morning arraignment.

At 3:25 a.m., troopers arrested Stephanie Pizza, 31, of 153 Inman Ave., Warwick, RI, for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs B.A.C .10-.15. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 195 in the City of East Providence.

Pizza was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed, and held overnight pending her morning arraignment.
