WARWICK, RI — Tito’s Handmade Vodka and The Trap are teaming up to help Warwick’s homeless animals on Sunday, August 14, from 2 to 6 pm for “Tito’s and Treats at The Trap” at 195 Old Forge Road, East Greenwich, RI.

Dogs and friends are invited to the event, which boasts dog-themed cocktails, live music by Josh Crowe and enjoy a patio game of corn hole. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet adoptable dogs from Warwick Animal Shelter.

Dogs can cool off with a pup cup (vanilla ice cream with a dog bone), enjoy fresh water stands and hang out with their dog pals. The Trap will have Tito’s branded giveaways.

Proceeds will help homeless animals. A portion of the proceeds from Tito’s and Treats at The Trap will benefit Friends of the Warwick Animal Shelter (FOWAS), an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit humane organization founded in 2001 that supports homeless cats and dogs at the Warwick Animal Shelter. Donations provide critically important emergency and routine veterinary care, prescription medicines, foods and much more for the shelter animals. FOWAS funds the “extras” such as bloodwork, x-rays, special surgeries, dentals or ultrasounds which helps to maintain reasonable adoption fees. Donations are tax-deductible, as allowable by law.

Dogs must be leashed. Rain date is Sunday, August 21, 2022.

Tito’s Handmade Vodka is produced in Austin at Texas’ oldest legal distillery. The company is passionate about helping pets in need throughout the country with the “Vodka for Dog People” platform.

The Trap, voted “Best Neighborhood Bar, West Bay”, by RI Monthly, offers traditional pub fare with a twist, a late-night menu, outdoor dining, live music with cozy fireplaces, televisions, and a full bar all in an easily accessible and unique environment. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are always welcome on The Trap’s spacious outdoor patios.
