Three Warwick Officers Among 24 Honored by MADD

WARWICK, RI — Mothers Against Drunk Driving is held its Fourth Annual Recognition Breakfast May 4 at Cranston Country Club, honoring 24 officers, volunteers and legislators for their efforts to curb drunk driving.

The honorees announced during the breakast included Warwick officers Aaron Kay, Nelson Carreiro, and William Holz. The full list of honorees and their awards is listed below:

DUI Officer of the Year – Richmond Police Sergeant William Litterio

DUI Pins – Woonsocket Police Detective Jason Berthelette, North Providence Police Patrolman Nicholas Gannon, Rhode Island State Police Trooper Brendan Degnan, Rhode Island State Police Trooper Dmitriy Drozdov, Rhode Island State Police Trooper Michael Kane, Warwick Police Officer Aaron Kay, Portsmouth Police Patrolman Michael Quinn, Providence Police Patrolman Michael Troia, Central Falls Police Officer Charles Walkup, Cranston Police Officer Chris Leclair
