Local Deals for Vets on Veterans Day

Warwick, RI — For Veterans Day next week, Nov. 11, several restaurant chains and local attractions are offering special deals for veterans, including free admission to Roger Williams Park and free entrees.

The following local deals are available to veterans on Wednesday:

IHOP — On Nov. 11, participating IHOP Restaurants, including at 1802 Post Road, offer veterans and active duty military free Red, White and Blue pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Outback Steakhouse – All active and former service members receive a free Bloomin’ Onion and a beverage on Nov. 11 at Outback locations, including at 1,000 Division St., East Greenwich. Outback is also offering active and former service members 15% off their meals Nov. 12 through Dec. 31.

Chili’s — Veterans and active military service members get a free entrée from a limited menu at the 1276 Bald Hill Road location on Nov. 11.

Denny’s — Active, inactive and retired military personnel get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam at the 444 Quaker Lane location on Nov. 11, from 5 a.m. to noon.

Applebee’s — Veterans and active duty military receive a free meal from a limited menu, on Nov. 11.

Free admission to vets at Roger Williams’ Zoo – Roger Williams Zoo offers free admission for veterans and members of the armed forces, as well as half price admission for up to three immediate family members (spouse and children).

Identification of active or retired status must be shown to receive free admission.
