State Police ID Coventry Man Killed in WG Car Crash

SCITUATE, RI — The Rhode Island State Police report a Coventry motorist who rolled his vehicle on Rte. 95 South in a WG car crash early this  morning was pronounced dead at the scene.

State Police identified the driver as Kenneth Norberg, 55, of Coventry.
A preliminary investigation revealed that at about 12:07 a.m., Norberg was traveling south on Rte. 95 in West Greenwich when his car left the road and rolled several times. Norberg was pronounced deceased at the scene.
State Police investigators report speed appears to have been a factor. The crash remains under investigation.
State Police ask anyone with information on the crash to contact the Hope Valley Barracks at 444-1068.
