Sandy Lane Sewer Line Repair Continues Wednesday

WARWICK, RI –Mayor Joseph J. Solomon announced Sandy Lane sewer line repairs will continue Wednesday and that nearby businesses remain open and accessible.

A partial road closure and detours put in place to aid the repair work are not affecting commercial properties along Sandy Lane, Solomon announced. They are accessible and open for business.

Water service to homes near the sewer line that were disrupted earlier Tuesday was restored by the end of the day, Solomon said.

Should additional water shut-offs be necessary, a warning will be posted at warwickri.gov, warwicksewerauthority.com, the police department’s Facebook and Twitter accounts, and at a dedicated line at the Sewer Authority, 401-921-1122, established to provide updates.

Detours announced Monday remain in effect, according to the Mayor’s office.
