Warwick, RI — The Run Through History 5K race through historic Pawtuxet Village, fielding 233 runners is in the books after an evening of balmy running weather.

The race, starting and ending at Aspray Boat House, drew young and old runners and spectators, all of whom enjoyed music provided by local youths after the event.

Bronson Venable, 25, of Wyoming, RI, the fastest Rhode Islander in the 2016 Boston Marathon April 18, finished second Friday with a time of 15:14.

The winner of the footrace, Matt Pelletier, bested him by 16 seconds with a time of 14:58.
