WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests  June 24 – June 29 involving Warwick included charges for a wrong-way driver arrested for DUI, a bail violator, and two DUI arrests on Rte. 95 in the city.

Here are the basics on those arrests:

Wrong way driver, DUI arrest At 1:51 a.m. June 26, troopers arrested Jaclyn Ward, 36, of 95 Nausauket Road, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – 1st Offense BAC Unknown, 2.) Reckless Driving and 3.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. This arrest was the result of an E-911 call for a wrong way driver and subsequent motor vehicle stop on Route 295 in the City of Cranston. Ms. Ward was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult.

Bail violator wanted on warrant At 12:40 a.m. June 27, troopers arrested Sarah Wilcox, 28, of 118 Power Road, Pawtucket, RI on 1.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for 46G Bail Violation on the original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, originating out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks and 2.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for 46G Bail Violation on the original charge of Man/Del/Possession w/ Intent, originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Pawtucket. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Women’s Intake Center.

DUI, Rte. 95 stop At 12:01 p.m. June 28, troopers arrested Tracy Ford, 53, of 480 S County Trail, Exeter, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – BAC Unknown – 1st Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – 1st Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

DUI, Rte. 95 stop At 11:10 pm June 28, troopers arrested, David Alves, 33, of 26 Hill Street, Apartment #1, Brockton, Massachusetts for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – BAC Unknown – 1st Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – 1st Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
