Warwick, RI – Rhode Island State Police made several Warwick-related arrests this week in addition to the arrest of two men, one from Providence and the other from Warwick, who fought outside the rally for presidential candidate Donald Trump at Crowne Plaza April 25.

The balance of RI Troopers’ activity in and involving Warwick included a DUI arrest and a few folks who missed court appearances on suspended license and no-contact order violation charges.

Traffic stop nabs woman who skipped hearing on suspended license charge On Wednesday April 27, at 1:41 a.m., troopers arrested Sarah Egan, 22, of 134 Atlantic Ave., Warwick, on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License out of the Hope Valley Barracks.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Providence Street in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where she was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – Women’s Intake.

No contact order violator arrested for skipping sentencing, pay hearings At 11 p.m., troopers arrested Clifton Pugh, 40, of 127 Hamilton St, Providence, for 1) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on Violation on a charge of Violation of No Contact Order 3rd Offense originating out of Warwick Police Department 2) Providence County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on a charge of Violation of No Contact Order 3rd Offense originating out of the Lincoln Woods Barracks.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in West Warwick. Subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed then turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.

Traffic stop on Rte. 95 results in DUI arrest On Thursday April 28 at 6:52 p.m., troopers arrested Jeremy Mitchell, 34, of 583 Sandy Ln., Warwick, Rhode Island for DWI First Offense BAC (.137, .134).

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop by LTC Catlow on Rte. 95 south in Warwick. Mitchell was returned to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned, and released to a responsible adult.
