RI Trooper Log: Traffic Stops Yield Arrests on Missed Court Warrants

Troopers arrest Coventry woman after traffic stop in Warwick On April 1, 9:34 p.m., troopers arrested Cassandra Stevens, 24, of 27 Hoxie Court, Coventry on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charge of Disorderly Conduct/Domestic originating out of the West Warwick Police Department, and 2) Second Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charge of Disorderly Conduct originating out of the Newport Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Centerville Road in Warwick. Stevens was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution-Women’s Intake Center.

Troopers arrest Warwick man on WPD warrant On Thursday, April 2, at 10:18 a.m., troopers arrested Raymond Ellinwood Jr., 44, of 303 Greenwich Ave., Apt. A219, Warwick, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant on the charge of Larceny out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Providence Street in West Warwick. Ellinwood was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and turned over to the Warwick Police Department.

Warwick man arrested in Cranston for missed court date  At 10:19 a.m. April 3, troopers arrested James Mariano, 33, of 68 Plenty St., Warwick, RI, for a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to pay on the charge of Domestic Disorderly Conduct originating from the Warwick Police Department.

This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Reservoir Avenue in the City of Cranston. Mariano was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and later turned over to Third Division District Court.

MA man arrested for missed court date On Saturday, April 4, at 2 a.m., troopers arrested Lusbi Pixcar, 30, of 15 Staples Ave., Everett, MA for a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear /Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License from the Pawtucket Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick. Pixcar was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.
