WARWICK, RI — State Police arrests in the RI Trooper Log between April 11 and April 17 in and involving Warwick involved charges for shoplifting, missed court dates, and domestic assault.

Here are the details of those arrests:

Providence traffic stop, shoplifting warrant arrest On April 15 at 12:36 a.m., troopers arrested Suzan Burdick, 2, of 24 Labin St., Providence, RI , for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Shoplifting originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Florence Street in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where she was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute Women’s Intake.

Missed sentencing hearing on suspended license charge At 8:24 p.m. April 17, troopers arrested Michael Vachon, 42, of 6 Jaynes Way, Charlton, MA for an active Sixth District Court Bench warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License out of the Warren Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace.

Community Supervision Violation On April 17, members of the Major Crimes Unit and the Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Sean Maher, 45, of 17 Atlantic Ave., Warwick, Rhode Island, for Violation of Community Supervision.

Maher was arraigned in Third Division District Court before the Honorable Magistrate Joseph P. Ippolito Jr. and was issued $1,000.00 surety bail. Maher was later held as a Superior Court Violator.

Domestic Simple Assault At 4:45 p.m.  April 18, Troopers arrested John Padien, 32, of 325 Thames Ave., Warwick, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Domestic Simple Assault originating out of the State Police Wickford Barracks.

The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and residence check.
