WARWICK, RI —State Police arrests in the RI Trooper Log between April 11 and April 17 in andinvolving Warwick involved charges for shoplifting, missed court dates, anddomestic assault.

Here are the details of those arrests:

Providence traffic stop, shoplifting warrantarrest On April 15 at 12:36 a.m.,troopers arrested Suzan Burdick, 2, of 24 Labin St., Providence, RI , for aThird District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on theoriginal charge of Shoplifting originating out of the Warwick PoliceDepartment.

The arrest was the resultof a motor vehicle stop on Florence Street in the City of Providence. Thesubject was transported to State Police Headquarters where she was processed

Missed sentencing hearing on suspendedlicense charge At 8:24 p.m. April 17, troopersarrested Michael Vachon, 42, of 6 Jaynes Way, Charlton, MA for an active SixthDistrict Court Bench warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on theoriginal charge of Driving with a Suspended License out of the Warren PoliceDepartment.

The arrest was the resultof a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject wastransported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed andlater arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace.

Community Supervision Violation On April 17, members of the Major CrimesUnit and the Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Sean Maher, 45, of 17 AtlanticAve., Warwick, Rhode Island, for Violation of Community Supervision.

Maher was arraigned inThird Division District Court before the Honorable Magistrate Joseph P.

Domestic Simple Assault At 4:45 p.m. April 18, Troopers arrested John Padien, 32,of 325 Thames Ave., Warwick, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for DomesticSimple Assault originating out of the State Police Wickford Barracks.

The arrest was the resultof a barracks investigation and residence check.
