WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests Nov. 17 – Nov. 22 in and surrounding Warwick involved charges for sexual assault, meth possession, and reckless driving.
Here are the details of those arrests:
Domestic Assault arrest On Nov. 17, at 6:25 p.m., troopers arrested Radames Tilson, 22, of 271 Stillwater St., Warwick, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of Providence Police Department for Simple Domestic Assault.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 South in Warwick. Tilson was transported back to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed then turned over to Providence Police Department.
Sexual assault arrest On Nov. 20, at approximately 2:30 p.m., members of the Major Crimes Unit arrested Nikkilas Jones, 30, of 47 West Pontiac St., Warwick, for Sexual Assault-2nd Degree (2 counts).
The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Major Crimes Unit. Jones was arraigned at Providence Superior Court and given future court dates.
Meth possession charge On Nov. 20 at 12:25 a.m., troopers arrested Christopher Paquette, 33, of 3595 Post Road, Warwick, Rhode Island for Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine.
The arrest was the result of an investigation of a suspicious subject at the Super 8 Hotel in the Town of West Greenwich. Paquette was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later arraigned and released by a Justice of Peace with a future Superior Court date.
Sexual assault charge On Nov. 20, at approximately 2:30 p.m., members of the Major Crimes Unit arrested Nikkilas Jones, 30, of 47 West Pontiac St., Warwick, Rhode Island for Sexual Assault-2nd Degree (2 counts).
The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Major Crimes Unit. Jones was arraigned at Providence Superior Court and given future court dates.
Reckless driving arrest At 5:17 p.m. Nov. 21, troopers of the Traffic Safety Unit arrested Claude Medina, 27, of 99 Doyle Ave., Providence, Rhode Island for Reckless Driving.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 South in Warwick. Medina was transported back to the barracks for processing, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and released.
Traffic stop, Family Court warrant At 12 p.m., troopers arrested Brandon Jennings, 40, of 62 Luna Street Apt. #3, Providence, on a Family Court Bench Warrant for Domestic Body Attachment. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick.
Jennings was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake.
